Grape leaves in snow

Happy New Year!

Just a quick blog post to wish everyone a wonderful new year! Today has been amazing in every way, and the perfect way to start off the year refreshed and renewed! Very refreshing was the snow covered yard I woke up to! It doesn't snow often here in the southwest, so it was a real treat to make a mini snowman outside and warm up to a roaring fire inside! It was the first time my puppers got to experience snow too! One liked it way less than the other, lol. [caption width="2008"]Matilda checking out the snow![/caption] Even though it...Read More

Last Post of 2018!

It's finally that time if year in which we look back at the previous 12 months and contemplate our successes and shortcomings, make resolutions for the next year, and generally reminisce about all that was with ranking lists! I'm totally someone who gets caught up with holidays and New Years is no different! That all said, please enjoy this last post of 2018! :) [caption width="1080"]Instagram best 9 of 2018![/caption] This year has been one of my more productive years with art from both a creative and business standpoint. Social Media and Me

Last week I wrote about my online comeback, so this week I thought it might be neat to share the social media side of that. The online hustle with social media is real! It may seem like it's easy and no real effort is needed, but it's very much the opposite. I actually put a lot of thought and effort into every post and upload. I'm still a social media nobody, and it can be frustrating to put so much effort into something hardly anyone sees. But hey, Rome wasn't built in a day! :) Currently, you can find me...Read More

Half-year Review!

I can’t believe that we are already more than half done with 2018. It seems like just yesterday we were ringing in the New Year and looking earnestly forward with fresh goals and resolutions – myself included! So, how have I fared with my goals as an artist for this year? Honestly, I’m not too sure. While I have been able to cross a few things off my to-do list, there is still a great number of things I am actively working towards. Yet, I’ve already learned so much in this year for all I’ve yet to accomplish. The trial-and-error...Read More

Happy New Year! 2018!

I spent a lot of time last year working behind the scenes with my art - learning, growing, and planning for 2018. Last year was a very transitional year for me, both in my personal life and professional life, like water flowing down a river headed for the sea. Being an artist in today's time (well a famous one at least) isn't always a simple task. There's so much more to it than just making art, and that can be a little frustrating. I've had to learn how to be a photographer, cinematographer, video editor, and even learn how to...Read More
