New Speed Painting Videos!

It's been no small task for me, but I've been doing my best to work through the backlog of speed drawing and painting videos I had sitting on my computer. I am a mega-novice at using Adobe Premier Pro and my computer is very dinosaur old, however, I am learning and making the best of it!My latest videos include:

I only have two more painting video to make before I'm all caught up - and I am currently recording the work on my latest piece, Tiger Lilies! Also in the works are tutorial videos! I am very excited to be able to share my knowledge with you regarding drawing and painting. I hope I can help inspire and encourage others to pick up the pencils/brushes, and create something for themselves. There's a ton of work to be done, but please look forward to it all! :DWarmest regards!Samantha A. New Speed Drawing Video & MORE!

One of my goals this year has been to wipe the dust from my YouTube channel and produce more videos. So far, I've been able to keep with that goal! It hasn't been easy though. Making YouTube videos means a mega-lots and lots of video editing, which I'm not super fond of. I find it kind of tedious, and I always rather be painting instead. However, I am proud of myself for learning how to use Adobe Premier Pro all on my own! It's not always intuitive, but I've been managing, and little by little I get better at using the program with each new video. Aside from my comic convention days, this is the first time I've really put myself out there to promote my work on social media platforms. Sure, I'd post here and there, but never consistently. It's actually a surprising amount of work to keep up with social media (and kinda scary too to subject yourself to a world of critics), but I hope in the end it is worth it. It is my dream and my goal for my artwork to reach all over the world! And while that may be a little daunting, there hasn't been much for me that some good ol' fashioned hard work hasn't manage to accomplish. :)With all that said, I've decided to try my hand at a new video series for my Youtube channel! I call it Artist Insight. In it, I discuss the various aspects that go into making my artworks, such as the techniques, mediums, inspirations, and even symbolism! I'm a huge fan of allegories and symbolism, but they are often lost on the casual viewer. I hope that through this video series, you can get to know me a little better as an artist, have a deeper understanding of the content of my artwork, as well as see the process behind using various traditional - non-digital - mediums. I'm not a natural in front of the camera, but I hope that gets better as I make more videos, lol. ;)[embed][/embed]
